There has been drama at Bingu International Conference Centre (BICC) during the introduction of the Presidential Running mate Debate which is currently taking place after people in attendance discovered that Everton Chimulirenji who is the running mate of the ruling Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) was not in attendance.
Initially, Chimulirenji was supposed to be in attendance of the long awaited debate together with other four presidential running mates representing four opposition parties.
But when Zodiak’s Joab Frank Chakhaza revealed that Mr Chimulirenji was not in attendance, a loud noise was heard chanting in the venue saying, “Chimulirenji Wathawa,Chimulirenji Wathawa”.
Meanwhile, the proceedings of the debate are in the process right now at BICC in the capital Lilongwe.
