Burial of father Felix Mangwiyo of the Archdiocise of Blantyre will take place on Tuesday at Limbe Cathedral Cemetery, faceofmalawi can reveal.

Father Mangwiyo died in road accident on Saturday after a minibus they were travelling in collided with truck carrying maize meant for flood victims in Chiradzulu.

According to information at hand, Father Mangwiyo was on his way to attend a burial ceremony of his relative.

The body of Father Mangwiyo will be taken from College of Medicine today at around 3:30pm to Limbe Cathedral where there will be an evening mass which will be graced by Archbishop Thomas Luke Msusa.

The mass will be followed by a vigil.

“Mwambo woika mmanda Bambo Felix Mangwiyo uli lachiwiri pa 12th March 2019, ndipo udzayamba ndi Nsembe ya Misa nthawi ya 10am, ku Limbe Cathedral. Misayi adzatsogolera ndi Wolemekezeka Ambuye Thomas Luke Msusa,” reads in part the funeral programme.

Father Mangwiyo was ordained as a Priest in July last year and he has served as priest for 8 months only.
