Aspirant Independent Parliamentarian for Ntheu Bwanje South Constituency Esther Mtekenya has said once ushered into power she will bring more development saying most Parliamentarians in the constituency have failed.

She said such development include health facilities, portable water, rural power electrification, Nursery schools, orphanage Centre just to mention but a few.

Speaking in an interview Mtekenya said there is small clinic at Bilira which accommodate only two patients to sleep while other sleep on the floor.

“My promises are that when the community ushered me into power I will bring more development which is lacking in the constituency at the moment,” she said.

Mtekenya who is contesting as independent candidate said when children are sick and admitted they sleep on the floor which is not good to country’s development and assured people to influence the authority to build big health Centre with more beds.

She also said at police unit there are only 3 police officers instead of 14 staff and there is no electricity and they depend on solar power.

“When people in the constituency voted for me I will make sure that there is electricity, I will bring more nursery schools and orphanage Centre,” she said.

Esther Mtekenya also said she opted to contest as independent Parliamentarian because the party she wanted to stand (UTM) there was violence during primaries.

She also sponsored Bonanza and donated balls and trophy to teams both boys and girls.

She therefore urged voters in Ntcheu Bwanje South Constituency.
