Government has expressed satisfaction with the assistance it is receiving from local and international bodies meant for flood victims.
Speaking in an interview with the press, Minister of Homeland Security and Disaster Management Affairs, Nicholas Dausi said their ministry is contented with the help they are receiving.
He however said there is still a need for more donation to reach out to all the flood victims in the country.
“There is still need for more assistance to reach out to all households affected by the floods,” he said
Dausi said the remarks following a positive response from the Tanzanian Government towards the flood victims by donating 200 tonnes of maize and other humanitarian relief.
The Chinese Government also donated K36m alongside other reliefs to the victims of devastating floods which hit some parts of the country.
A lot of organizations within and outside the country have been helping flood victims across the country.
