United Nations International Children’s Emergency Fund (UNICEF) has launched Girls Education Trust and International Fundraising Campaign.
The campaign has been set up to provide access to quality education for vulnerable girls students in Malawi.
The initiative comes as Malawi continues to face challenges which have the potential to ruin dreams of girls in Malawi.
Minister of Education, Science and Technology Bright Msaka was the guest of honour and UNICEF was represented by Johannes Wedening.
UNICEF hosted a similar event in 2018 and it partnered with New Finance Bank (NFB).
