United Democratic Front (UDF) President Atupele Muluzi has said he will be the first youthful president to lead the country come May 21 elections.
Muluzi was speaking at the party’s mass rally at Majuni Primary School in Mangochi on Sunday.
“The whole world expects that, come may 21, 2019 I will become Malawi’s first youthful president,” Muluzi said.
He further added that for the past 5 years he has been positioning himself and get to know what it takes for one to be a president.
Muluzi is a Health Minister in President Professor Arthur Peter Mutharika’s cabinet.
