2 Men Sentenced 14 Years each for Raping an Old Woman

First grade magistrate in Rumphi has sentenced two men 14 years imprisonment with hard labour for raping an old woman.
The two convicts are identified as Chimwemwe Chatha, 23, and Kel Malonda, 21.
The two were found guilty by the court on Thursday after being convicted for gang raping.
The two men denied committing the crime but prosecution by the police and three other witnesses successfully proved the case.
Magistrate Culthebert Phiri condemned the act done by the two men.
He further added that the sentence should serve as a warning to those who would be offenders.
