Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) running mate Everton Chimulirenji has said May 21 polls are there only to change the country’s vice president.

Chimulirenji was speaking in Kasungu when he was conducting whistle stop tours campaigning for DPP.

He further said that he will work with President Professor Peter Mutharika to continue developing lives of people in the country when elected into power in the forthcoming polls.

“I will work with president Mutharika to develop the country,” Chimulirenji said.

Malawi will hold its second tripartite elections on May 21, 2019, and three political parties namely Democratic Progressive Party (DPP), Malawi Congress Party (MCP) and United Transformation Movement (UTM) are favored to win.
