Malawi’s secular reggae artist Jotex Jolly Chalo based in South Africa has released two songs ‘Mwayi Salandana’ and Tasiyana kuthupi ahead of his first ever show in the commercial capital Blantyre in July this year.

The two songs were released on March 11, 2019 through Malawi-music.com.

The two songs are from his debut album titled ‘Chuma ndi mame’ which is currently on the market and the album has 10 tracks namely; ‘Menyeleni nkhondo mulungu,’  Lowani m’mutima wanga mbuye Ndinabadwila mubanja losauka, Seka mkudyere, Umandimaliza,Ndawona zodabwitsa snd No pain no gain.

Menyeleni Nkhondo Mulungu hit maker is expected to perform at Kachere Caltural Club in the commercial capital Blantyre on July 5, 2019.

The artist will share a stage with well-known music group from Zambia, Organized Family and well-known gospel musician Evans Meleka.

On July 6, Jotex Chalo will be at Divas Lodge in Nchalo before performing at Zithele Pano Club in the Eastern district of Mangochi.

Jotex Chalo will also launch his ‘Chuma ndi Mame’ DVD in all the venues.

Chalo started singing at church choir in 2006 and in 2018 it’s when he thought of coming up with a 10 track album as a solo secular artist.
