MBC told the court that killings and abductions of people with Albinism have have not only generated fear but also interest among Malawians and as such it was important that Malawians be accorded the fullest right to information about this case which is already being held in an open and public Court.
The suspects in the case who include a Catholic Priest, a Clinical Officer, a Policeman and a relation to the late Masambuka among others opposed the application.
The Court has granted them their wish not to have the trial aired live.
