A Nigerian woman has been executed alongside 3 others in Saudi Arabia for drug trafficking.
This brings the number of people who have been executed in the Middle-East country this year to 53.
The country’s interior minister who confirmed that a Nigerian woman was executed, disclosed that she was put to death along with two Pakistani men and a Yemeni man.
The execution took place in Islam’s holiest city of Mecca, on Monday.
Human rights experts have been calling for a look into the death penalty laws carried out by the kingdom especially in regards to the level of fairness in the trials.
