Former president who is also Peoples Party (PP) leader Dr. Joyce Banda has added another strike in campaigning for Lazarus Chakwera of Malawi Congress Party (MCP) as she stormed the lake shore.
In her speech Banda said time is now for the country to adopt national development agenda policy.
“Time is now for the country to adopt national development agenda policy, and this could only be done through MCP-PP- Freedom Party alliance,” Banda said.
During the whistle stop tour, Banda laid down why Chakwera should be elected in the forthcoming polls, saying he is the only right candidate to develop the country beyond recognition.
“Chakwera has all it takes to be the next president of the country,” she said.
The stateswoman withdrew from presidential race paving way for Chakwera which is giving him an advantage of winning the election as she brings votes on the table from Eastern and Northern region.
