Rwanda Donates k150 Million To Malawi For Disaster Relief

High Commissioner of the Republic of Rwanda to Malawi, Monique Mukaruliza, Thursday presented a cheque donation of USD $200,000 (K150 million) to the Malawi Government.
Mukaruliza said Rwanda came up with that gesture in the spirit of being there for each other in times of need.
Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Dr. Emmanuel Fabiano, who recieved the donation on behalf of government, thanked the Rwandan government for stepping in when help was required.
Malawi was hit by floods last month that resulted in the deaths of 57 people and left thousands others homeless.
