Nigerian national Francis Duru Uchechukwu, age 21 years old was on 10 April, 2019 found guilty and convicted accordingly, found in possession of Indian Hemp popularly known as Chamba.

Completed cases at Blantyre CRM court before H/W Chapita Banda, Uchechukwu was sentenced to 8 months IHL but the sentence was suspended for 12 months. Since he is a foreigner, he has, therefore, been referred to Immigration for repatriation.
