Reverend Chimwemwe Mhango has resigned as Musicians Union of Malawi (MUM) President, faceofmalawi can reveal.
Mhango has confirmed of his resignation in a letter made available to faceofmawi reporter.
According to Mhango, the reasons for resignation are purely personal.
Mhango was re-elected as MUM President in 2014 at Annual General Meeting (AGM) held at Kamuzu Institute of Sports in the capital Lilongwe.
Reverend Mhango outclassed Balaka based musician Charles Sinetre with 54 votes against 13 votes.
