Death has been announced of former Minister of Labour during the reign of former President Dr. Bakili Muluzi, Peter Chupa.
Chupa who also served as Minister of Transport and Public Works died today after a long illness, faceofmalawi can reveal.
The ex-Minister was one of the founders of the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) of Brown Mpinganjira.
Chupa also served as National Director of Recruitment in the Peoples Party (PP) under former President Dr. Joyce Banda.
Meanwhile funeral details are still sketchy.
