Aspirant candidates for Blantyre Kabula constituency Miguel Elias for MCP has promised and assured the voters in his constituency that  once ushered into power on May 21 tripartite elections he will lobby the reduction of driving license saying at the moment it is very expensive.

Elias said Malawians with motor vehicles are struggling to pay for the license because it is on the higher side that most Malawian cannot afford to pay.

“Surely to say the truth driving license is expensive and once voted into power the problem will be solved. I will discuss the issue with my fellow Parliamentarians to reduce the price and pass the bill,” said Elias who is managing Director for Chitundu Distributors.

MCP aspirant shadow candidate further said he will make sure that at primary school there is a teacher who will teach pupils vocational skills such as Welding, Brick laying, Mechanics, Auto-electrician, Carpentry and Joinery, Tailoring, Auto-electrical among others.

“In 2014 tripartite elections I contested as independent candidate but at the moment I’m standing on MCP ticket because of ideas and sound leadership of Dr Lazarus Chakwera and his vice President Sidik Mia.

He further promised to bring developments like portable water, improve road network infrastructure, and construct bridges just to mention but a few.

He therefore urged the voters to vote for him for more projects and programmes.
