Chief Hangs Himself to Death

Village head Chimera of Traditional Authority (T/A) Kalumo in Ntchisi district has committed suicide by hanging himself.
Malawi police have confirmed, saying the tragedy happened on Monday.
Detective superintendent Dyson Chilondola said the chief killed himself following disagreements with his wife over family matters.
Chilondola said the chief’s second wife, Ellita Fanuel, 33, ended their relationship for unreconciled reasons.
