Association of Persons with Albinism (APAM) President Overstone Kondowe has resigned from his position, faceofmalawi can confirm.

According to information at hand, Kondowe has resigned to take up his new role as chairperson of African Union for Persons with Albinism (Aupa).

Kondowe has since been replaced by his deputy Pamela Juma on acting capacity, APAM Board Chairperson Reverend Peter Kandulu.

According to Kandulu, Juma will be acting as APAM President up until fresh elections are conducted in June.

Meanwhile has been appointed as APAM coordinator replacing Boniface Massa.
