Three people are confirmed dead while several others have escaped with various degrees of injuries after a bus they were traveling in was involved in an accident along M5 road in Ntcheu district on Wednesday night.
Ntcheu Police Public Relations Officer, Hastings Chigalu confirmed of the accident in an interview with the press.
According to Chigalu, the accident happened 19:30 and 20:00 around Chitsulo area before Bwanje trading Centre.
He said number of injured people is not yet known.
The three died on the spot and their bodies are now at Balaka District Hospital mortuary.
