Chancellor College (Chanco) theology students invade neighboring communities in Zomba to spread the evils of abducting and killing people with albinism.

The students took the good news in Chinamwali Township which is few kilometers away from Chanco where misconceptions that albinos are less human are high.

During the meeting with Traditional leader and villagers, the students emphasized that everyone was created in the image of God and that everyone is equal before Him.

In his remarks, James Kuseka one of the leaders of the group said their journey aimed at explaining legal consequences of the evil act.

“We also took time to explain legal repercussions of being involved in the killings and abductions of albinos,” said Kuseka.

John Botomani, a villager who attended the meeting complimented the students saying what they have done is a great job.

He further added that he gradually started to believe that albino bones can help one to get riches until the meeting.

“We hear rumors that around, we hear that some are being arrested for abducting and killing albinos and we were wondering where really the problem was,” said Botomani.

The students pledged to take the awareness campaign across Zomba. mտv
