Man killed during a football fight in Dedza

One person has died while several others have sustained injuries after a fight broke out between two football teams during finals of a trophy in Dedza yesterday.

Dedza Assistant Police Spokesperson Cassim Manda confirmed of the development in an interview with Zodiak Broadcasting Station (ZBS).

 Manda identified the deceased as Levison Mwakalinga.

According to Manda, there is still tension in the area, and police are on the ground monitoring the situation.
