Mount Meru Holding staff have boycotted work since Monday this week.
The reason for the strike is that members of staff have not yet been paid their April salary.
Striking staff have been threatened by the management that if they continue they will be fired.
The threat has added some energy to staff who are not afraid of chop as long as they get their dues.
The strike has affected operations in Blantyre, Lilongwe (Lumbadzi and Area 3) and Mzuzu.
