All 133 occupants of the flight has made it out alive and only 15 of them have been taken to the nearest hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
BG060 had landed on Yangon’s Runway 21 at about 6:30PM local time but went off the wet runway and came to a stop on soft ground with all gears collapsed and the fuselage broken into three sections.
Biman’s BG060 carrying 33 occupants onboard and being operated by their Dash 8 Q400 (S2-AGQ) has skidded off the runway at Yangon International Airport earlier this evening suffering substantial damage to her airframe. Most likely will be a write off. Reports suggest that the weather around the time wasn’t exactly favourable.
