United Transformation Movement (UTM) president Saulos Chilima has said his party will form next government in next week’s tripartite elections.

Chilima said this during his whistle stop campaign tour from Blantyre to Lilongwe.

In his remarks Chilima said the rallies that Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) is conducting, are farewell to Malawians.

He further added that Mutharika should honorably leave state house paving for him to steer the ship from the troubled water that the current government took Malawians into.

The vice president has expressed confidence that he will defeat the incumbent president in the May 21 polls.

He further cited that president Mutharika’s time as a leader of this country is now too close to end.

Chilima continued saying that the DPP led government has clearly shown that it has failed Malawians.

He added that only few people have benefitted from the government who are connected to the ruling elite.

He finished by persuading Malawians to vote for UTM and its leaders in the forthcoming elections for massive developments. !^oY6*
