President Professor Arthur Peter Mutharika has appointed Professor John Kalenga Saka as Vice Chancellor for Mzuzu University, faceofmalawi can reveal.

This has been disclosed in a memo addressed to Mzuzu University members of staff signed by Acting Registrar James Kwilimbe date May 15, 2019 seen by FOM’s reporter.

According to the statement, Saka will take up the post once is cleared at the University of Malawi (UNIMA) where is working as Vice Chancellor.

“AM pleased to convey the appointment through the Mzuzu University Council of Professor John Kalenga Saka as Vice Chancellor of Mzuzu University by the Chancellor and State President of the Republic of Malawi, President Professor Arthur Peter Mutharika.

“Professor Saka is expected to report for duties once he clears with his current employer, the University of Malawi, where is working as Vice Chancellor,” reads in part the memo.
