A person who is one of the polling clerks at Nathendo polling center in Machinga Likwenu constituency has been arrested for allegedly making a choice for a voter on who to vote for.
Bowlander Monjeza, a Machinga NICE officer said the suspect had allegedly ticked where the voter did not want to tick.
Meanwhile, The Malawi Electoral Commission has given a go ahead to all the media houses to start announcing the unofficial results anytime from now as a way to deal with any possible false speculation.
The MEC Chairperson Justice Jane Ansah had in the afternoon restricted all media houses from announcing unofficial results until 10:30 tonight as a way to avoid tension that could have possibly occurred.
However, there has since been an outcry from people that all local TV stations are OFFLINE including some few radio stations.
