Chitipa Police Arrests DPP Parliamentary Candidate

DPP Parliamentary candidate for Chitipa North Constituency Nick Masebo has been charged with an offense of disturbing the regular vote counting.

National Police Spokesperson James Kadadzela has confirmed.

Masebo allegedly went to Ilengo tally center in Kameme silently in order to listen to the vote counting process.

When taken to task by some officials, he failed to cooperate with them.

Masebo was taken to Chitipa Police in the wee hours of today Wednesday 22 May, 2019. He has since been granted a bail.
