Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) running mate Everton Chimulirenji is trailing behind an independent candidate Arthur Chipungu.
According to unofficial results from 15 centers in Ntcheu North East Constituency are showing that Chimulirenji is not returning to parliament in the next five years.
According to the results, Chimulirenji is on number three with 966 votes against Arthur Chipungu who has so far amassed 3588 votes and United Transformation Movement (UTM) Joseph Malingamoyo with 2877 votes on position one and two respectively. “
