Public Affairs Committee (PAC) Chairperson, Reverend Felix Chingota, said their effort to seek an audience with the Malawi Electoral Commission prior to the announcement of Presidential results proved to be futile.

Chingota said this at a press briefing currently underway in Blantyre.

In his remarks Chingota but they were told that all concerns pertaining the election were sorted.

Chingota said the results were supposed to be released after all concerns were resolved.

He added that a lot of the stakeholders they engaged feel there was injustice in the handling of results.

He also said the use of tippex on result sheets raised eye-brows.
