Palmer Tips Mutharika to Invest in Energy

United States ambassador Virginia Palmer has tipped Mutharika to prioritize areas that can lead the country to prosperity.
Palmer said Mutharika should prioritize on public sector reforms and investment in energy saying the two would trigger economic success for Malawi.
“Public sector reforms should continue. This will be his legacy. This can trigger development in the country,” said Palmer.
She further added that Mutharika’s administration should also work on improving in electricity generation and distribution citing that this would also trigger economic and social economic successes.
