With the aim of forcing the Malawi Electoral Commission (MEC) chairperson Justice Dr. Jane Ansah, Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) have announced that they will hold demonstrations on June 20, 2019.
This has been said by Vice chairperson of Human Rights Defenders Coalition (HRDC) gift Trapence at a press conference in Lilongwe on Sunday.
Trapence said they have organized the demonstrations following the Ansah’s voluntarily to resign.
The demonstrations are expected to take place in all cities of Blantyre, Mzuzu and Zomba.
