Dausi’s attacker arrested in Blantyre

Police in Blantyre have arrested one person in connection with the assault of former Homeland Security Minister Nicholas Dausi.
Police in Blantyre have confirmed of the arrest but refused to disclose the name of the suspect, saying doing so will jeopardize police investigations.
Dausi was assaulted at the Malawi Electoral Commission warehouse in the heat of the disputed May 21 tripartite elections.
