In a quest to force Malawi Electoral Commission (MEC) chairperson Jane Ansah to resign Human Rights Defenders Coalition (HRDC) has said it is going to hold vigils on 4 and 5 July.
Recently, HRDC held nationwide demonstrations to force Ansah to step down as she is being accused of mismanaging May 21 tripartite elections.
Beatrice Mateyu, HRDC member said if Ansah still fails to resign after the vigils, they will hold other vigils from 8 to 12 July.
