Nine People Reportedly Dead in Machinga Head-On Collision

Reports reaching FACE OF MALAWI indicates that nine people have been killed following a head-on collision involving a Toyota Sienta and a fuel tanker on Wednesday night in Machinga.
According to Eastern region police publicist, Joseph Sauka the accident occurred at Ndache area before Mandevu farm.
It is said the Sienta was overloaded with nine people and was being driven at a high speed that resulted into the accident to occur. Sauka said all the nine people on board of the Sienta died on the spot.
Meanwhile, particulars of the deceased people have not been revealed yet.
