The Lilongwe Magistrate Court has granted bail to Human Right Defenders Coalition (HRDC) Vice Chairperson Gift Trapence and Macdonald Sembereka.
The two were arrested on Tuesday for running an unregistered organisation called MANGO and abusing funds received from the UNAIDS.
On Wednesday, Magistrate Violet Chipawo denied bail the two after charging them with two counts of corruption, fraud and operating an organisation without registering it with Non- Governmental Organisation Board.
Meanwhile the two have been granted bail today.
