Police in South Africa are on the manhunt for a Malawian national identified as Wetu Fatima Amin on suspicion that she masterminded a robbery at her boss’ house in Scottville.
According to reports, during the day of the incident, the 35-year-old female boss and her 18-month-old baby were attacked by three thugs who stormed their bedroom leaving them for dead.
It is said the female boss was tied with sellotape around her mouth and arms. The attackers had used an electrical appliance to shock her and the toddler before they strangled them to the point of passing out.
The two, the mother and the baby were later taken to hospital where they are now discharged.
The thugs got away with R220000 and Fatima disappeared.
Meanwhile, police are looking for information concerning Fatima’ whereabouts.
