South African artist Kwesta has said he is excited to perform in the country for the first time.

The artist confirmed in a video that he is coming for the 30th anniversary of Team Entertainers event dubbed Winter White Party at Bingu International Convention Centre (BICC) in Lilongwe next week Friday.

During the event, whose dress code is white, Kwesta will share the stage with the country’s artists, among them Hazel Mak, Piksy, Toast, Lucius Banda and Zembani Band, Temwa, Tuno, DJs Mask, Trick and Six Solid Band.

“Malawi; I am coming. Everybody that loves fun, just come through and let’s share the music and I appreciate all the support you have been giving me,” Kwesta said.

Team Entertainers has indicated that Kwesta would perform live with a seven-member band and that he is expected in the country next week Wednesday.

Team Entertainers Director, Tonderai Banda, who took over the running of the company from his father Jai Banda popularly known as Mr Entertainer, said people will have fun during the event and experience something different.

“Team Entertainers is celebrating 30 years since it started. It has not been an easy road; so, we thought of celebrating all these years with fans,” Tonderai said.
