On 6th August,2019 thieves took advantage of the peaceful demos and were found in the shop of MOVESA in Lilongwe.
Four of them hid in the ceiling waiting for the night to fall so that they can sweep all the filters.
Fortunately once coughed and alerted people that there is someone in the ceiling. Police had to spray teargas for them to come down.
When they came out they were beaten by owners AMWENYE of MOVESA shop.
One is reported dead.
