Suspected DPP cadet attempting to attack HRDC members chased at Crossroads Hotel

Information reaching faceofmalawi indicates that suspected Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) youth cadets has been chased at Crossroads Hotel after attempting to petrol bomb a vehicle belonging Human Right Defenders Coalition (HRDC).
This happened as HRDC officials were outside waiting for the Attorney-General to finish his in-door meeting with government officials.
Personal bodyguards of HRDC members and guards at the hotel saw the suspected DPP cadet with something that looked like a grenade going towards the vehicle.
Police are currently searching for the suspected bomber.
