Malawi’s music legend and icon Soldier Lucius Banda plans to release his 20th album next year following a break he has had in the past.

While performing at Squirrels Park in Mzuzu, Soldier Lucius Banda announced that he will release his 20th album next year.

In the album, he says Sir Eric Donaldson, Busy Signal and Burning Spear have all confirmed that they will collaborate with him. In the pic, Lucius welcomes son Jonny.

Telling the fans, Soldier revealed that his new album will feature Jamaican stage icons in the name of Burning Spear, Eric Donaldson and Busy Signal.

He adds, “All these artists have already confirmed and they will collaborate with me, in this coming album.

You (people) should expect more good things to come because you believe in me as I also believe in you.”

Soldier Lucius Banda is one of the country’s music icons cum politician and human rights activist. His past albums and songs have condemned the elites for disregarding and excluding the poor as they do what is for their interest.

He has fought for people against oppressive regimes from one party government to date.
