A man in neighbouring Zambia’s district of Serenje identified as Sali Chisenga has allegedly been murdered by his grandson on suspicion of practicing witchcraft.
Local police have since arrested the culprit, 34 year old grandson to the deceased identified as Neward Kalunga in connection with the said murder case which occurred on Friday around 09 hours at the named district.
Acting Police Spokesperson, Danny Mwale has has revealed in a statement that the deceased sustained a deep cut on the head and that an axe is alleged to have been used in the act.
Mwale said the body of the deceased was laying in Serenje District Hospital mortuary awaiting postmortem.
