ZAMBIA – A first year student at Evelyn Hone College in Zambia has reportedly committed suicide after his girlfriend dumped him.
According to his best friends, Wezi Nyirenda, 24 committed suicide after his 21 year old girlfriend who is a student at APEX University dumped him on grounds that he was a gay.
Tributes have been pouring in on social media for Wezi Nyirenda after news about his death broke out.
It is believed the deceased had been contemplating suicide for a while now after his girlfriend told him she was no longer interested in him after she allegedly found out he was gay.
Ten minutes before he killed himself, he wrote on Facebook “so long everyone…till we meet again…..loved u all …”.

Police suspect he took some drugs to take his life as his body had no injuries.
