The Constitutional Court hearing the Presidential Election Results Case has dismissed the application made by the first and second respondents to adjourn the case.
The application was made arguing that they were not served in time the argument skeletons.
Giving her ruling Judge Ivy Kamanga said according to the court records the said documents were served on time hence the continuation of the case.
The Constitutional Court has further ruled against applications by lawyers for Malawi Electoral Commission (MEC) and DPP presidential candidate Peter Mutharika, requesting the court to remove some parts of the evidence submitted by MCP presidential candidate Lazarus Chakwera.
