A movement against quota system of selecting students into public schools has announced that dates for vigils it planned to hold, have been changed.

Anti-quota movement has said this time they will target some public boarding schools in the Northern Region.

The vigils are scheduled to take place at Mzuzu Government, Nkhata Bay, St John Bosco, St Mary’s and Robert Laws Secondary Schools among others.

The movement is said not to be pleased with the results of Primary School Certificate of Education (PSLCE) examinations.

According to the movement quota system infringes rights of students who passed the examinations but are denied a chance to go into public schools.

However, they are demand government through the examinations board Malawi Nation Examinations Board (MANEB) to nullify the results.
