One of cricket teams in First Capital Bank (FCB) tournament is optimistic to grab the championship after beating Rido Electrical at Mpingwe Sports Club on Sunday and qualified for quarter finals.
Speaking in an interview captain for Royal Motors Omar Ahmed (ILyasa Bikho} said they have assembled the strongest team this year to win the tournament.
“We have prepared well this year and all players are much dedicated to grab the competition and we will continue even next year,” he said.
There are 14 teams which include Silver, Brown, Yellow, Pharmanova Mapeto, Oriental cricket Club (OCC) Indian Sports Club (ISC) just to mention but a few.
Silver beat Yellow an Indian sports Club to qualify for quarter finals according to the organizing committee.
The tournament started on September 2 and the finals are expected to be played on October 13.
Royal Motors joined FMB tournament two years ago according to the captain.
