Barrack Junior Obama’s father was born Kenyan as Barrack Obama Senior, and he met the mother of the retired United States of American President Barack Obama  when he was 23 years in Hawaii.

Obama Senior had travelled to the US to pursue his education before he fell in love with Ann Durham who later bore a son who rose to lead the US as the first African African-American.

Obama Senior had left behind a pregnant wife and an infant son back at his home when he left for the US.  He, however, lied to Durham that he was divorced when he landed in the US.

Durham and Obama decided to tie the knot on the Hawaiian island of Maui on February 2, 1961.

The parents from both sides were against their married but they insisted to settle down.

Obama later decided to inform Durham that he had been married in Kenya but affirmed that they were no longer living together with the mother of his child after successful divorce.

Obama Sr.’s first wife, Kezia had no choice when she realised that he had married another woman.

She decided to give him consent to marry the second wife as per the customs of the Luo community.

The marriage of the two never lasted as they divorced years later after it emerged he was abusive.
