
Police Probe on Goons who Broke into ADMARC Depot, Get Away with K596, 000

Police in the Northern Region have launched a search for unknown assailants who broke into Agriculture Development and Marketing Corporation (ADMARC) depot at Lupembe in Karonga and went away with a cash chest containing K598, 000.
Assistant Police Spokesperson for the Northern Region Cecilia Mfune said the robbers, armed with Pangas invaded the depot at night.
Mfune said the Marketing Officer at the depot sold the whole stock of maize which he had and put the money in a cash chest together with a passport and payment vouchers.
