Police in Mzuzu are currently on a manhunt for a pastor belonging to Church of Central Africa Presbyterian (CCAP) for allegedly using an arrow to injure another man on the neck.
Livingstonia synod General secretary Levi Nyondo has confirmed of the news and identified the said pastor as Hekeiko Mambo who committed the offence on Monday, 7th Oct, 2019.
Reports say on the day of the incident, the victim and other people went to the pastor’s house to seek K1.2 million cash which the pastor took as a loan from a Bank Nkhonde group.
While there, disagreement erupted and in the end the pastor took an arrow and aimed it at the victim’s neck resulting into injuries.
Nyondo added that the suspect is also a lecturer at Livingstonia University and once found, Livingstonia synod will take disciplinary actions against him.
Meanwhile, police have launched a manhunt for him.
