
Nsundwe Suspects to Appear in Court for Bail Application

At least 39 suspects who were arrested on Tuesday following the violence at Nsundwe in Lilongwe are expected to appear before court today for bail application.
The suspects were arrested following a protest by the community who were against President Peter Mutharika’s plans to hold a rally in Lilongwe.
The clashes in Nsundwe led to the death of a police officer, Usumani Imedi, who was stoned y the angry mob.
